Several years ago, a woman said something that sent me on the path to discovery. “I wish I could be happy even amid sadness and suffering.”
I asked myself. “How does one even think that is possible? When we experience chaos and pain, shouldn’t a person feel sad? “
Since then, a little over eight years now, I have investigated, practiced, and dreamt of a time when I could experience happiness under any circumstances.
About 4 Years ago, I found a wall hanging with this written upon it. “A happy person is not a person in a certain set of circumstances, but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes. ” Buddha.
I was drawn to the quote, even though I did not understand it completely. It told me it was possible to be happy no matter the circumstances if only I could truly grasp the concept.
Then in 2019, I had an awakening. During my pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago, part of that 500-mile walk was over the Pyrenees Mountains in France. I was experiencing pain, frustration, and fear because I did not believe I could actually make it over the mountain. But something amazing happened to me, I spontaneously connected with the Universe. I became one with the mountain, wind, and fog. When I finally came back into myself, I was filled with bliss, even though I still had nearly 15 miles to go. I finally recognized that the pain, fear, and frustration WAS the experience.
I finally understood how within pain and fear, peace can exist. Our travails do not take the place of happiness but are part of the entire experience. One does not cancel the other. Peace can be found within the throes of fear, frustration, and anger. They are side by side, not one or the other.
While this may be difficult to understand. It is even more challenging to try and explain. For the past year, I have been creating different ways to offer a more precise and more immediately usable explanation and practice.
This is how I came to create the Path To Peace guide. It has taken me a lifetime of learning and practice to understand it in a single moment.
Now I want to help you receive the wisdom that has taken me so long to understand. The basic principles I developed in The Path to Peace will provide you with near-immediate results. You will be inspired to keep learning, keep practicing, and experience happiness here and now, no matter what experience you may be having.
By practicing these steps, even if you do not immediately understand them, you will begin to feel peace infuse itself into your daily experience.
The Path to Peace will help you realize a life of peace, purpose, and joy, no matter what you may be experiencing in your relative world.
We are each the creators of our human experience. Too often, we believe that we are at the mercy of our environment. While our physical Self may have to endure hardships, such as fear, illness, disappointment, and pain, our interior Self can remain in a state of peacefulness.
